Our client is a long established food manufacturing company. Innovative and dynamic, they are constantly pursuing new ways to improve the services and products they offer. An opportunity has arisen for a Hygiene Operative to join their team. As a Hygiene Operative, you will be responsible for the smooth cleaning of the production line, complete the correct paperwork and checks, and also understand all the Health and Safety requirements. This role is for Day Shift and you will be required to work 5/7 days. Your duties will include:

• Carrying out scheduled daily cleaning tasks
• Deep cleaning of production areas
• Post cleaning checks to make sure everything has been completed properly
• Making sure that everything you do complies with company procedures for Health & Safety and Hygiene
• Ensuring that your cleaning and personal protective equipment are functioning correctly at all times
• Working in a chilled environment
• Helping the Factory maintain a smooth production capacity
  
  Level 2 Food and Hygiene (desirable) - training will be given in a 12 week period
• The ability to follow strict processes, ideally experience within a food environment
• The ability to work effectively under pressure of time
• Professional attitude to work
• Able to work with own initiative
• Physically fit
