Explore the opportunity An exciting opportunity has arisen for an IT Technician to assist the IT Manager in maintaining and developing the IT systems within the academy. Facilitating the smooth running of the network, and providing support for all its users. You will have the ability to work under pressure in a demanding and fast moving environment. Troubleshoot problems and resolve issues effectively and efficiently, whilst using good communication skills with both Staff and Students. In addition, you should have a good understanding of how a typical IT systems works, including a good knowledge of the Microsoft operating systems and Microsoft Office Package. As the IT Technician you will assist with the following areas:

• Day to day maintenance and inspection of the IT equipment.
• Dealing with support requests through the Academy's ticket monitoring system, email and phone calls.
• Maintaining the IT and AV hardware across Academy.
• Create new user accounts via Active Directory.
• Set up laptop/projector/screen for school assemblies.
• Providing technical support for all staff and students.
• Testing and deploying hardware and software.
