As the Imports Outbound Supervisor, you'll be the daily point of contact between LLP & JLR plants. You'll ensure all plant deliverables are managed and parts are shipped to JLR plant or Deconsolidation Centres on time, in full and within targets. The role will also involve supporting the contract management of service providers. This is a customer-facing role primarily responsible for managing the relationship with TD Imports customers. The Imports Outbound Supervisor function oversees the Imports Processing Centre operation and is critical to facilitating a seamless handoff of customer demand through the E2E process as enabler to an efficient outbound process through accurate control and data alignment. The Imports Outbound Supervisor position requires knowledge of both inbound, outbound, customer and central TD processes and a large degree of interaction with all teams in both daily operations as well as in order to support new process/IT implementations. Shift is 3pm to 11pm Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

• Work on operational tasks at Imports to ensure timely and successful resolution of all supply chain delivery issues
• Support JLR plants on new model launch plans and production strategies
• Apply lean tools and techniques as part of an integrated approach for development and improvement of Import Operations
• Work on improvement projects applying lean methodology to deliver sustainable transformation within Import Operations
• Provide support and project management for the LLP development by promoting performance improvement
• Monitor and track resolution to all logistics problems and issue to ensure improvements are achieved
  
  Very strong analytical skills and number/financial affinity
• Has an in-depth knowledge of customer demand rules and expectations
• Background in Supply Chain with experience in Supply Chain Development
• Experience in issue resolutions and application of lean methodology in Supply Chain
• Experience of process improvements in Logistics Flow
