Income Officer - Local Operations - Part Time

Phoenix House, Basildon

£19,635 per year (pro rata)

21.75 hours per week

Temporary position for up to 9 months

We have an opportunity for a Income Officer - Local Operations to join our Income team, based in Basildon. As a member of the Income Services team your role will involve managing income and debt recovery functions.

The role of Income Officer - Local Operations will include:

-Proactively manage rent accounts and deliver the aims and objectives of Swans rent recovery policy using enforcement action where necessary
-To provide high quality and prompt housing management service to Sanctuary's customers and ensure tenancy conditions are enforced
-Support the day to day delivery of excellent customer service functions within income services
-Raise the profile of Sanctuary's services and ensure improved customer satisfaction

Skills and experiences:

-Proven experience of administration relating to customer service and complaints

-Able to take ownership, use own initiative and deliver excellent customer service
-Excellent organisation skills and a keen eye for detail
-Knowledge of income recovery and maximisation strategies along with experience of possession proceedings and presenting cases at court
-Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft packages including Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams
