Full Job Description

The applicant must be available for the upcoming EPA which is conducted online on the following dates:

  • Open Book Exam 3rd July
  • Presentations 29th-31st July (online)
  • The EPA can be held up to three times per year. The EPA lead will communicate future dates to IA's. Duties will include:
  • Attendance at an online induction session
  • Attending online standardisation meeting prior to each EPA
  • Remote assessment and grading of assessed materials
  • All appointments are subject to the candidate meeting the University's criteria for appointment and must be approved by Academic Quality.

    The University of Hertfordshire, School of Health, Medicine and Life Sciences are looking to appoint a new Internal Assessor (IA) for the MSc Advanced Clinical Practice (Degree Apprenticeship). Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced academic staff who have experience as an ACP with current professional registration. They need to be able to demonstrate ongoing continuing professional development and have the following:
  • A Masters degree,
  • Current professional healthcare registration
  • A minimum of three years' experience working in the field of Advanced Clinical Practice in a clinical and/or educational setting
  • A minimum of three years' experience in making assessment judgements at Masters level
  • No involvement in the ACP apprenticeship development and delivery at the University of Hertfordshire
