Based at our client site in Newport, South Wales, you will be joining an exceptionally talented team, supporting an Aerospace customer with their Infrastructure across 3 data centres in the UK. Initially 5 days a week on site, which will switch to a more hybrid working arrangement as you gain experience and develop. What you'll be doing:

• Assisting in the deployment and management of infrastructure monitoring tools.
• Supporting the development of monitoring policies, alerts, and dashboards.
• Responding to infrastructure alerts and working alongside senior engineers to resolve issues.
• Analysing monitoring data to identify trends and improve performance.
• Collaborating with the client, infrastructure teams, and security to understand monitoring needs.
• Maintaining accurate documentation of monitoring configurations and response procedures.
• Participating in team training and actively developing your technical skills.

• Familiarity with operating systems such as Windows and Linux.
• Any exposure to monitoring tools or similar (gained through coursework, personal projects, or internships)
• A keen eagerness to learn and develop technical expertise in IT infrastructure and security.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and troubleshoot issues.
• Good communication and collaboration skills, with a proactive approach to teamwork.
• Basic understanding of scripting languages (such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash).
• A foundational understanding of security concepts within IT.
