Full Job Description
As Inside Sales & Campaigns Specialist for Parts & Repairs, you will be responsible for GE Vernova's customer connect processes and campaigns. You will also be required to follow-up on general quotations and liaise with the Parts Sales and Segment Sales Teams. You will follow an individual work plan and be required to meet day-to-day short-term objectives. An important characteristic is the ability to resolve issues through immediate action or short-term planning. The role will play an important part in helping drive revenue and growth for Parts & Repairs. In this early-career role, you will be key in supporting and growing sales by positioning our services offer and work with colleagues to identifying the best commercial solutions to ensure we are competitive and promoting good communication with our customer base. You'll be a key member of the Parts & Repairs Services Team reporting into the Services Sales Director for Rotating Machines Services, Parts & Repairs. Essential Responsibilities
- Be the lead resource for customer re-connect & general Campaigns.
- Support the team for incoming enquiries and understand the customers need from the request for quotation (RFQ).
- Comfortable with direct customer contact through phone-calls & TEAMS meetings
- Understand fully the customer's request.
- Liaise with all internal & external staff to ensure customer service excellence.
- Full management of tenders and support for parts & repairs, providing leads and customer information to the sales team.
- Being a team player is essential to success in the role as you will be interfacing with multiple teams on a matrix basis.
- Self-motivated and a desire to win is a key characteristic for this role.
- Provide and maintain accurate data and records to understand customer and market trends.
Educated to A-level or above or equivalent in work experience. - Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Strong time-management and organisation skills.
- Customer focused with a "Say Do" attitude.
- Experience in Sales or within Engineering field would be preferred.
- Previous customer facing role preferred.
- Use of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools would be desirable.
