Full Job Description
The Head of Business Partnering and Employee Relations is integral to the People Senior Leadership Team and will support the Deputy Director of People with key elements of the CLCH People Plan and the NHS Long Term Workforce Plan. The post holder will help shape the People and OD operating model to its best in order to achieve the Trust's strategy, while ensuring the People and OD related governance mechanisms for board assurance are implemented and sustained. The post holder will inspire a culture of innovation, continuous improvement and integration, taking the lead of key projects both internally and externally in advancing the Trusts collaboration with NWL towards collaborative and system people priorities and will: Lead a team of high performing business partners to provide comprehensive and proactive Workforce & OD expertise to the Directorate management structure. Provide strategic workforce leadership to the Divisional Management Teams and to develop and increase the reach of workforce within the Trust's core business, by understanding and delivering on the key objectives of Divisions focusing on the needs of providing first rate care. Ensure a Just and Restorative Culture is embedded across all ER systems, processes, procedures and practices with the associated upskilling of People Managers, the ER Team and other key stakeholders. Demonstrate continuous progress in the reduction of formal cases, reduction in length of time taken to investigate and resolve ER cases, developing a culture where informal resolution is effective and becomes the norm. Lead and evaluate the delivery of a robust HR interventions and programmes that continuously improve organisational performance and transformation, through the use of leading edge and evidence-based HR practice and interventions, some of which could be of a contentious nature.
