We're Hiring Internal Communications Channel Specialist - 12 Month FTC. We're looking for an Internal Communications Channel Specialist to support and deliver seamless communications to colleagues across the Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA) region. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract based in London, with flexibility to work both in our office and from home. The individual is responsible for managing the communication channels, including building and distributing emails, publishing intranet content to Aon Avenue. The Internal Communications Specialist also supports our knowledge sharing tools, internal digital channels, and provides administrative support to the Internal Communications team.

  • Build and distribute all internal corporate and business solution line emails produced by the team using the Eloqua system
  • Work closely with the dedicated Eloqua email distribution team to brief and manage newsletters and more complex email campaigns
  • Produce metrics and analysis to support the Internal Communications team's evaluation and strategy development (including use of channels)
  • Create and publish news stories, pages and documents to Aon Avenue. Be proactive and responsible for centrally owned sites/sections of the intranet, ensuring they are best in class
  • Provide initial support for intranet content publishers across EMEA by offering a help desk/troubleshooting service and coordinating all aspects of content in line with brand and standard methodology. Respond to user feedback and enquiries on the intranet
  • Own, design and deliver creative and engaging content (corporate and business solution line) for digital channels
  • Drive adoption of Viva Engage via internal advertising, technical support, idea generation and advising on best practice and producing monthly statistics for all Knowledge Sharing tools
  • Provide general administrative support to the Internal Communications team including diarising meetings and managing agendas, requesting purchasing orders and onboarding new suppliers, proof reading and supporting events and campaigns.

  • Knowledge of design software an advantage
  • Experience providing first line support to a large and diverse colleague base
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Creative with a strong eye for detail
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail is essential
  • Ability to manage own workload and use initiative
  • Ability to manage and prioritise multiple demands
  • Knowledge, experience and interest in collaborative tools desirable
  • Ability and willingness to be flexible and adapt is essential
