Full Job Description

  • Lead and shape the delivery of a programme or a set of projects in different stages of delivery lifecycle
  • These projects would be complex projects. A complex project would have either one or more of the following: an aggressive schedule, multiple vendors/partners, unclear problem/solution, complex technical solution, large scale organisational change or impact, large number of stakeholders or undefined requirements
  • Considerable stakeholder management experience with the ability to traverse issues/risks across various projects
  • Determine and define project scope and objectives
  • Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner
  • Prepare budget based on scope of work and resource requirements
  • Track project costs to meet budget
  • Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan
  • Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress
  • Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables
  • Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution
  • Monitor progress and adjust as needed
  • Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement

    Have a broad business skill set including stakeholder management, problem-solving, and resilience
  • Have experience in gathering, validating, synthesizing, documenting, and communicating data and information for a range of audiences
  • Have excellent interpersonal skills and strong written and verbal communication skills in country's official language(s) (C2 proficiency) and English (C2 proficiency), project-related mobility/willingness to travel
  • Have proven ability to solve problems creatively
  • Have strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
  • Have experience seeing projects through the full life cycle
  • Have excellent analytical skills
  • Have strong interpersonal skills and are extremely resourceful
  • Have proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline
  • Have strong IT project management skills, including hands-on experience of managing project finances and not just project delivery
  • Have a good understanding of IT infrastructure and can shape up and lead IT infrastructure projects
  • Preferred Skills:
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE2 certification
  • Knowledge of Agile ways of working
  • Utilities industry knowledge
