Full Job Description

If you are an experienced IT Project Manager looking for a new challenge, we have an exciting opportunity on a 12 month fixed term contract.

Reporting to the IT Programme Manager we are looking for a people-focussed individual who understands the value of teamwork to partner with the rest of the business in delivering IT-enabled business change projects.

We are looking for someone who can show unwavering determination in supporting the delivery of a global technology-led business transformation programme. As we are a vertically integrated organisation you will be working across multiple areas of the business, so your commercial acumen and ability to understand key business drivers within a complex business setting will be key.

A key challenge in this role is managing the implementation of multiple projects within the context of a large programme. This will require excellent working relationships and strong critical thinking and decision-making, working across multiple delivery partners to achieve a smooth implementation., This role will be offered on a hybrid working basis where you will work from the Nottingham Headquarters twice a week.

Being an expert in your field, confident in dealing with a wide range of people and having extensive skills in project management and IT-enabled business change projects, you will need effective organisational skills and experience in working with third parties. You will be an excellent communicator who makes sure all the teams you work with have clarity on progress and timescales, both internally and externally

The ideal candidate will have experience managing IT business systems implementations with broad knowledge of a range of project methodologies and approaches and be passionate about finding solutions to any IT-related challenges.

Working at Games Workshop

At Games Workshop we are looking for people who will do their best to understand the needs of the company and to put those needs first when they are at work. Because of this we believe that what you are like, hence the attitude you show to work and the way you choose to behave is even more important than your skills and experience.

The Warhammer World site is based just outside of Nottingham city centre and benefits from a nearby tram stop and free onsite car parking.

In return for your hard work, you will receive 33 days holiday per year (including public holidays), matching contributory pension scheme up to 7.5%, profit share bonus (subject to GW meeting profit targets) and option to join our Share Save scheme. Oh and let's not forget, a staff discount of between 25% and 50% on our products!
