Junior Speech and Language Therapist

This role is for a Junior Speech and Language Therapist at the Dean Neurological Rehabilitation Centre in Gloucester. The centre delivers specialist 24-hour nursing and therapy services for people with complex long-term neurological conditions, focusing on slow-stream rehabilitation to maximize patients' abilities, comfort and quality of life. The successful candidate will lead group therapy sessions, manage a caseload, and work as part of a multidisciplinary team to support patient recovery.

As a Junior Speech and Language Therapist, you will lead group therapeutic sessions, helping people develop and improve their speech and communication. Building one-to-one rapport with service users, you will encourage engagement and empower recovery. You will have experience in managing a designated caseload using theoretical and practical experience, completing assessments, planning, implementing interventions, and evaluating outcomes aligned to care plans. With a strong emphasis on teamwork, you'll receive support from a regional network of healthcare professionals and enjoy access to a variety of training courses to support you reach your career goals.
