Full Job Description

At Manston Primary School, we are looking for an engaging and dynamic teacher to teach a Key Stage 2 class. This post would be ideal for an ECT or experienced teacher. We are looking for a teacher who plans and delivers lessons while successfully nurturing and inspiring our students. As part of our energetic and welcoming team, you will enthuse and motivate students to strive for success, while maintaining a healthy learning environment for all children within the school., Shortlisted candidates will be asked to complete a self-declaration form; this form adheres to the Ministry of Justice on disclosure of criminal records. Manston Primary also conducts online searches on shortlisted candidates as part of our safer recruitment processes.

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).

  • An Honours Degree.


  • THE RIGHT CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

    Passion and enthusiasm for their role.

    Good knowledge of the curriculum and its means of delivery; knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum and assessments would be advantageous.

    High standards of communication and interpersonal skills.

    High levels of personal motivation and enthusiasm.

    Excellent attendance and punctuality.

    The skills to design fun and engaging lessons for pupils.
