Grateley House School is a residential school for young people aged 11-19 years, who have a diagnosis of Autism or have strong emotional / behavioural traits of Autistic Spectrum Disorder, typically high functioning Autism. The school can support young people with other associated difficulties such as ADHD, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia.

Job Profile

We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join our existing team of highly motivated, proactive professional kitchen staff. You will be part of a team that ensures the highest standards of cleanliness and general hygiene of the kitchen and dining areas.

Duties will include:

Washing up
Drying up
Loading the dishwasher
Cleaning the dining room
Covering our Assistant Cook at times

The ideal candidate will have a positive outlook and be able to follow instructions. Previous kitchen experience would be preferred, however full training will be given. The candidate will need to be highly self-motivated and confident working in a school kitchen.
