Kitchen Assistant

SWIFT Temps Ltd Industrial Recruitment Division are recruiting for a Kitchen Assistant for our client based in Shipley, We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our clients kitchen team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting our kitchen operations, ensuring that food preparation and safety standards are upheld. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Serving food to customers and making hot drinks
• Preparing delicious, high-quality food for our clients and customers
• Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness of the kitchen and surrounding areas
• Ensuring the correct use of all machinery and equipment
• Assisting with the loading or unloading of dishwasher
• Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards
• Complying with Health & Safety regulations
  
  Previous experience in a catering or restaurant environment is preferred but not essential.
• Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary skills.
• Understanding of food safety practices and regulations.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
• A proactive attitude towards learning new skills in the kitchen.
• Flexibility to work various shifts as required by the kitchen schedule.
• You must have a food hygiene certificate
  
  Hour are Monday to Friday 8am to 2pm to work 30 hours a week
