Kitchen Assistant

As a Kitchen Assistant, you will be assisting our Chef in carrying out all delegated tasks in all areas of the kitchen's responsibility and maintaining a very high standard of hygiene and dress.,

• To ensure that all areas of the kitchen are clean and tidy at all times.
+ To ensure that all equipment is thoroughly washed. + To ensure that the best economic use is made of material issued to you. + To report all defects, damage, and breakages to the chef/assistant cook. + To assist in the day-to-day operations of kitchen duties. + To assist with the preparation of vegetables, sandwiches etc. + To ensure the kitchen and ancillary rooms are cleaned thoroughly as per the cleaning schedule. + To work at times in other areas other than your normal place of employment as required. + At all times your uniform is to be clean and well-ironed and well-presented.
