Focuses on ensuring overall cleanliness of kitchen areas, in particular pot wash machine, dishwasher, crockery area, floors, and associate canteen.,

• A Part-Time position based at The Forest of Arden Hotel.
• Number of Direct Reports - 0.
• Titles of Direct Reports -0., Supplying the highest possible levels of customer care and service whether in the public eye or in the back of the house areas.
• To ensure the smooth and efficient operation of pot wash machine and dish wash machine, and cleaning on a daily basis.
• To ensure that all crockery is handled correctly to minimize breakages.
• To ensure the Kitchen is clean and hygienic at all times.
• To carry out thorough cleaning of all equipment in the kitchen
• To ensure that all cleaning schedules are followed and signed daily basis.
• To be fully aware of the:
+ Global food and safety audit 43 check points + Accident Report Procedure + Maintenance Fault Reporting Procedure + Fire Policy for your department
• To understand how the hotel's Health and Safety Policy affects your department and how it links in with the rest of the hotel.
• To carry out all reasonable instructions given to you by a supervisor.
• Ensure all SOP's are followed - Human Resources, Brand Standards and Health and Safety, and Grooming standards.
Other
• Performs other related task as assigned by Management.
• Complies with The Forest of Arden Hotel policies and procedures.
• Working hours as required to do your job but normally not less than your contracted hours.
  
  Previous experience working within a Kitchen or similar environment preferred.
Skills and Knowledge:
• Strong Communication skills (verbal, listening, writing).
• Pro-active and reliable.
