Information
The governors of Grange Primary School are looking to appoint an excellent class teacher to join our enthusiastic and hardworking team. We are looking for someone who is genuinely interested in continuous professional development, who is energetic and creative with a desire to explore emerging pedagogies.
We are a strong team with high ambitions – with all teachers working as subject leaders – promoting their own subject areas, whilst also working collaboratively to further develop and enhance our curriculum and values. Our common aim is to provide our children with the best experiences and promote their aspirations and life chances.
Our range of support staff are professional, flexible and hardworking. They include a non-class based SENCO and pastoral support manager. Our staff enjoy working together – they are hardworking, resilient, flexible and know how to laugh together.
Our school sits at the heart of our local community, and as such, we have excellent relationships with our parents, who trust us to be supportive. Our Governing Body are knowledgeable and undertake their roles with commitment, challenge and respect. They enjoy working with staff and share the same values and characteristics.
Ofsted reports regularly confirm that Grange is a calm, respectful and happy school, built on strong relationships between adults and pupils. Our children are interested and engaging, they demonstrate excellent behaviour for learning and they love coming to school!
We are looking for someone who:
- Is energetic and reflective, with a ‘can-do’ attitude, organised, with excellent communication skills
- Understands the need for equity in the classroom so that all our children can achieve well
- Is a team player with a sense of perspective and good humour
- Is genuinely interested and motivated by current educational evidenced-based research
- Excels in building and maintaining relationships
We offer:
- Children who want to get to know you and want to learn
- Staff who provide superb peer support and enjoy working together
- High quality professional development, which includes working with colleagues in local and national clusters
- Excellent relationships with governors and families
- A well-resourced learning environment
- A Senior Leadership Team who are visible and supportive
