Full Job Description

As an À La Carte Waiter, you will deliver exceptional dining experiences by providing attentive, personalized service to our guests. Your role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that every guest's needs are met promptly and professionally., Guest Service: Welcome guests, present menus, and provide detailed descriptions of dishes and specials.
Order Taking: Accurately take food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen and bar.
Food and Beverage Service: Serve food and beverages in a timely and courteous manner, ensuring correct presentation and temperature.
Table Management: Set up and clear tables, maintain clean and organized dining areas, and assist with table settings and decorations.
Menu Knowledge: Stay informed about the menu, ingredients, preparation methods, and potential allergens to answer guest inquiries confidently.
Upselling: Suggest additional items or enhancements to improve the guest experience and increase sales.
Guest Relations: Build rapport with guests, anticipate their needs, and respond promptly to any requests or concerns.
Billing and Payment: Prepare and present bills, handle payments, and ensure accurate cash handling and reconciliation.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with kitchen and bar staff to coordinate orders and ensure timely service.
Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper handling of food and beverages.

Experience: Previous experience as a waiter in an à la carte or fine dining setting is preferred.
Skills: Excellent customer service and communication skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor.
Knowledge: Familiarity with à la carte service, menu items, and wine pairings.
Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail and accuracy in order taking and service.
Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods and carry heavy trays and dishes.
Team Player: Strong teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with kitchen and serving staff.
Flexibility: Willingness to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Problem-Solving: Ability to handle difficult situations with tact and professionalism.
