Even though the posts will not be recognised for training the successful candidates will have the opportunity to attend teaching and participate in audit, quality improvement and research projects where possible similar to the Wales Deanery Trainees. The successful candidates will also have dedicated educational supervisor. These posts will participate on the medical on call rota and have similar responsibilities to the training grades. • Be eligible for full registration with, and hold a current licence to practise from, the GMC at the advertised post start date
• MBBS
• MRCP(UK) Part 1 at time of application and MRCP(UK) full diploma by offer date
• Higher degrees including MSc, PhD or MD (not including intercalated BSc or 'Honorary' MA)

The department of Diabetes and endocrinology are looking to appoint a LAS ST Higher (SCF level) doctor for a fixed term period of 12 months. The posts will commence on 4th September 2024 until 2nd September 2025. The successful candidates will work together with the wider clinical team of Consultants, Advanced Nurse Practitioners, Junior Doctors and other Allied Health Professionals to provide high quality, safe and effective clinical care.
