Full Job Description
Richard Huish College has a strong reputation regionally in its offer of a wide range of A level and vocational courses in Taunton and the surrounding areas in Somerset.
The successful candidate will provide first class Learning Centre services, predominantly through the Issues and Enquiries desk, to all Huish students and staff. This will involve assisting students and staff with the borrowing of books, media equipment and the use of online resources. The successful candidate will be able to give advice on the use of resources and where to locate appropriate materials. Working within a small team, the post holder will contribute to maintaining the Learning Centre as an area which is conducive to study for large numbers of students. The successful candidate will need to be prepared to lift and move books and equipment.

· Salary: SP7-10 £23,585-£25,276 FTE actual salary £8,435-£9,039 Depending on experience.
· Contract: Part time term time only (39 weeks)
· Hours: 15hrs 2 days per week, 8.30am-4.30pm
· Start Date: asap
