Full Job Description
As a Lecturer in Fine Art, you will:
- Develop and deliver engaging studio-based and online teaching materials that inspire creativity and critical thinking.
- Guide and mentor students, supporting them to achieve their artistic and academic potential.
- Contribute to the curriculum's evolution by integrating contemporary practices and developing cross-disciplinary opportunities.
- Undertake research and scholarly activities to advance knowledge in Fine Art, with the potential to secure research funding and publish in the field.
- Actively participate in internal and external networks to forge new partnerships and enhance the department's profile.
- Engage in commercial activities to generate income and enhance students' employability through live projects, exhibitions, and industry collaborations.

- Holds a Master's degree or is working towards a PhD in Fine Art or a related discipline.
- Has a proven track record of practice-based delivery in Fine Art, including teaching and mentoring students in studio settings.
- Demonstrates a high level of skill in industry-standard techniques, software, and exhibiting work commercially.
- Brings a proactive and innovative approach to developing learning resources and delivering education both in-person and online.
- Shows commitment to continuous professional development and enhancing the student experience.
- Has evidence of research work or publications, with a commitment to advancing scholarship in Fine Art.
