Wiltshire College & University Centre is seeking passionate and experienced professionals to join our dynamic Land Based Faculty as Variable Hours Lecturers. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the delivery of high-quality education across a range of specialist areas, shaping the future of students pursuing careers in the land-based sector. We are looking for enthusiastic educators or industry professionals with expertise in one or more of the following areas:
- Introduction to Land-Based Studies (Entry & Level 1)
- Land-Based Studies
- Agriculture
- Agricultural Engineering
- Horticulture
- Animal Management
- Sports Turf Management
- Equine Studies You will work closely with the faculty team to ensure that course content is industry-relevant, innovative, and supportive of student progression. Located on a stunning 500-acre campus in the picturesque Wiltshire countryside, Lackham provides an exceptional environment for both teaching and learning. Our campus is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, including a large Animal Centre and an advanced Agri-tech centre, ensuring that our staff and students have access to the best resources available. Lecturer in Land Based - Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective lectures, workshops, and practical sessions in Agriculture and related subjects.
- Develop and update curriculum content to ensure it reflects current industry standards and practices.
- Assess and evaluate student work, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
- Mentor and support students, helping them to achieve their academic and career aspirations.
