Full Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated and innovative Lecturer of Maths to teach across Southport College and King George V College on a full time or part time basis.

At the Southport Education Group, we deliver maths programmes at various levels to 16 - 19, adult learners and apprentices across both our campuses, Southport College and KGV. Programmes include GCSE and Functional Skills.

You will enhance our students' achievement and experience in Mathematics, by planning, preparing and delivering courses and lessons that meet the needs of students to enable them to realise their potential and achieve their aspirations and goals.

You will be a positive and enthusiastic individual, who will bring a fresh approach to teaching and learning that will revitalise the experience for all students. You will ideally have an advanced maths qualification (or equivalent combined with previous experience of teaching maths), a teaching qualification, and will be committed to our students, your subject and the teaching profession.

We have contracts available ranging from 0.6 up to full time. Please indicate on your application form how many hours you would wish to be considered for.
