Full Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a final-year Law student or Law graduate to join a fast-paced and dynamic in-house legal team. Based in London, our internship program starts on the 2nd June 2025 and will end on August 22nd 2025., We will provide the successful candidate with an introduction to the different departments, roles and processes within the Legal team; an overview of the wider business and how the Legal team interacts with it; as well as an overview of the lifecycle of solar projects. We will also provide training on the contracts we use for our projects, our business and other ancillary documents.,

  • Providing general support on the day-to-day business of the wider Legal team (Development & Transactions, Projects, Finance and Corporate/Commercial) and liaising with internal stakeholders as and when required
  • Attending weekly team meetings discussing Legal team news and developments, the status and progress of transactions and other internal workstreams
  • Assisting with the legal review and/or preparation of contracts and ancillary documents (e.g. board resolutions) for the different departments in the Legal team. Examples include: intercompany loan agreements, non-disclosure agreements, consultancy agreements, commercial contracts, transaction documents, construction agreements, etc.
  • Assisting with contract signing process and other required formalities
  • Legal writing and research and preparation of memos
  • Undertake any other related duties as may be required

    An interest in and general understanding of renewables and solar energy
  • Familiarity with the English law, legal procedures and standards
  • Broad knowledge of day-to-day operations of an in-house legal team and legal processes
  • LLB/BSc degree in Law
  • Excellent English language skills
  • Good Microsoft Office knowledge
