Full Job Description
You will be supporting the ESH, Financial Services, Litigation and Tax Practice Groups providing secretarial and administration support. You'll be reporting into the Manchester office Secretarial Services Manager and will be working alongside Partners and Associates and other Secretaries., We are an inclusive employer and aim to ensure our workforce is representative of our diverse society. Our thriving Manchester office is looking for a Legal Secretary to join our team. We need you to be an organised, professional individual who has a "can do" attitude and willing to go that extra mile to help colleagues at all times., In this dynamic and busy role, no two days will be the same. This role is ideal for someone who is an experienced Secretary with some exposure to supporting at Partner level in a national or global law firm and preferably has experience in one of the Practice Groups.
You'll work alongside the existing teams as well as taking ownership of complex billing tasks and client reporting; client and matter inceptions (including understanding KYC requirements); extensive diary management and dealing with international travel.
You must have a positive and professional approach at all times and work efficiently in a very busy team.
Monday-Friday, 9.00am-5.00pm - Hybrid working available

As this is a varied role, you'll need to be an organised, proactive individual who can easily prioritise and juggle workloads. You'll need to have the flexibility to assist other departments when required. You should also be able to use your initiative and spot where help is needed with limited supervision.
You'll also have experience of complex billing, client inceptions and working in a law firm.
As you will be dealing with clients of the firm, excellent communication skills are key for this role. Ideally, you'll have good knowledge of all Microsoft packages along with strong keyboard skills, and a good eye for detail is a must.
You will have a minimum of 5 years' experience of working in a professional service firm.
