Leigh Academy Horsmonden is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Class Teacher to join our team, starting in January 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a vibrant and thriving primary academy, where your passion and commitment will help shape students' educational experiences. We are looking for a motivated KS2 teacher who fosters a love of learning in a dynamic and supportive environment. This role is ideal for someone who places student achievement at the heart of their practice and is committed to the continued growth of our academy. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Planning and delivering engaging and effective lessons aligned with the National Curriculum
  • Assessing and monitoring pupil progress, providing targeted support and interventions
  • Building positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
  • Contributing to the overall success of the academy through involvement in extra-curricular activities and academy initiatives
  • You will also be expected to collaborate with your peers both within the academy and across the whole Trust. This is an important part of our vision as we know through experience that we perform better when we work together.
