We have an opportunity for a Lettings Manager to join our truly modern and high performing Lettings Team. Our Lettings team is a customer focussed and results driven team that works hard to ensure we minimise rent loss and ensure that Platform Housing Group are a landlord of choice. You will be responsible for leading and motivating an engaged and consistently highly performing team that provides an exceptional service to our new and existing customers at all times, ensuring that customer satisfaction remains a priority and KPI targets are achieved. What could you be doing be doing as a Lettings Manager? The Lettings Manager will inspire and encourage an organisational culture which reflects and embeds our People Values and encourages people to bring their best selves to work. You will demonstrate the Groups values and behaviours that set a positive example to all employees. As part of the role, you will provide leadership and coaching to direct reports and their teams, to effectively deliver their team objectives and to develop their potential. You will plan the workloads of your team effectively to ensure KPI targets are met, and void rent loss is kept to an absolute minimum. You will be responsible for leading a team to secure new customers for new and vacant homes following a robust marketing process. You will ensure efficient communication with customers with clear guidance on how to complete the application process in a timely manner.

Are you results driven with the ability to manage a team in an agile way?,

  • Experience of Lettings or Housing Management, ideally gained in Social Housing sector.
  • Proven experience of developing and maintaining relationships with Local Authorities and other partners.
  • Experience of managing a team and demonstrable ability to coach/manage a team in an agile way.
  • The ability to establish strong, sustained working relationships based on respect with effective negotiation and influencing skills.
  • A customer focussed approach to your work with excellent communication skills.
  • This is a role well suited to someone with drive and an ability to work in a fast-paced environment, as you will be working towards and supporting your team with performance based KPIs.
  • Whilst this role is home based, you would need to be based near to our Worcester office for office working and team meetings. Travel to our Birmingham office will also be required on occasion.
