Description: The role involves assessing and processing applications for a range of licences or permits needed by businesses or individuals.
- A minimum of 2 years general administrative and clerical experience.
- Competency in use of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and Outlook
- Experience of using databases and accurate data entry skills
- Excellent customer care skills
- Excellent communication (written and oral) skills

The Shared Regulatory Service operates across three partner Councils, Bridgend, Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan under a single management structure. Bridgend County Borough Council is looking for a Licensing Support Officer to join a small team processing licence applications from businesses and sole traders. The post is primarily based at Civic Offices Bridgend but occasional working for either Vale of Glamorgan or Cardiff Council may be required.
