Full Job Description
An opportunity has arisen for a Personal Assistant to provide support to a 29-year-old gentleman with profound autism.
As a Personal Assistant your duties will include very minimal personal care, support to access the community for social/leisure activities on a 2-1 basis including swimming. Other interests are attending the Pleasure Beach, charity shops and old book shops.
We are looking for a caring, proactive and motivated individual with a passion for supporting others.
Previous experience is essential along with a positive attitude and good work ethic . You must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A driver with a full clean licence is required and you must have access to own vehicle.
This is a part time position with weekly flexible hours by mutual agreement and will include some weekends. Hourly rate of £12.60 plus 5.6 weeks paid annual leave and workplace pension scheme.
