Full Job Description

We are looking to hire 2 Line Operators to slot into our Manufacturing site based in Dalston, Cumbria. Reporting to the Line Performance Manager you will be working on a production line. The main purpose of this role is to ensure the production lines runs safely and efficiently in accordance with Nestle standards, to reduce consumer complaints, to produce quality products, and to protect the Nescafe brand. Nestlé's Dalston Factory in Cumbria is the European Centre for cappuccino and creamers producing a range of beverage products. These are produced through a highly automated PLC controlled process plant and automated filling and packing lines. It is continually developing and expanding leading brands such as Nescafé, Aero Hot Chocolate and Coffee-mate. The factory is moving forward with continuous improvement principles and actively developing Lean/TPM processes so it's an exciting time to be involved. A day in the life of a Line Operator

  • Running equipment adhering to all Nestle safety and quality standards.
  • Rigorous adherence to key standards for optimal running
  • Use the 5 golden rules of TPM to improve line performance in all areas.
  • Continuously update own technical and operational skills

    Experience in a manufacturing and production environment.
  • Previous Line Operator experience or similar
  • Will be able to demonstrate strong competencies and behaviours.
  • Will have the ability to work as part of a team delivering compliance in safety, quality and production processes.
  • Will be able to communicate effectively with multiple functions displaying one team mentality.
