This is an incredible opportunity to gain hands-on insight into the vital work we do to bring wildlife back and restore nature at scale across the region.
As a Living Landscape Trainee, you'll work alongside our expert Nature Recovery team across our network of reserves and third-party sites, delivering a wide range of conservation tasks-from habitat management and creation works, to species monitoring and access improvement works. You'll also contribute to projects such as developing our wildflower and tree nursery at Bickley Hall Farm, supporting volunteer groups, and helping to gather essential ecological data. This is a practical, varied, and impactful role that puts you at the heart of our mission to create a Wilder Cheshire.
Whether you're a recent graduate, career changer, or simply passionate about the environment, this placement offers a fantastic launchpad into the conservation world. You'll be supported every step of the way with training, mentoring, and opportunities to build your professional skills. Join us in making a real difference for nature-apply now and become part of something truly meaningful.
At Cheshire Wildlife Trust we embrace agile working with a focus on supporting you to achieve your objectives alongside a healthy work-life balance. We operate a hybrid working policy with most staff working at least part of the week from home and/or out on site.
Cheshire Wildlife Trust is offering a funded trainee role designed to equip a budding conservationist with the skills, knowledge, and real-world experience needed to thrive in the sector.
