As part of our commitment to quality and environmental sustainability, we are working towards ISO9001 : 2015 and ISO14001 : 2015 certifications, We are seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Craftsperson Electrician to ensure the efficient and effective maintenance of engineering plant and equipment within a modern NHS Foundation Trust Hospital environment. This role is integral to supporting healthcare services and maintaining a safe and functional infrastructure.,

  • Perform maintenance and fault-finding on engineering equipment such as fire alarms, electrical installations, emergency generators, and building management systems.
  • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and reactive repairs according to set performance measures.
  • Collaborate with ward staff, patients, and other departments to complete work safely and efficiently.
  • Order spare parts through the engineering stores.
  • Adhere to health and safety standards, including working in challenging conditions like heat, noise, or infected areas.
  • Complete all required documentation and participate in audits.

  • Completion of an Engineering Apprenticeship or NVQ L3 and 2 years continuous experience in the industry, together with the required minimum qualifications A level 3 in electrical engineering or an alternative recognised equivalent qualification
  • Valid driving license
  • Experience Essential
  • To have previous experience in the relevant trade
  • Desirable
  • To have worked alongside other trades
