- Maintenance Expertise: Carry out repairs, maintenance, and improvements to ensure the home is kept in pristine condition.
- Health & Safety Leadership: Ensure compliance with all health and safety standards, creating a secure environment for residents, visitors, and staff.
- Proactive Problem-Solving: Use your knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and general systems to address and resolve maintenance issues efficiently.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the wider team to prioritise tasks, respond promptly to maintenance requests, and uphold our high standards of care.
- Engagement: Interact warmly with residents and colleagues, ensuring a positive experience for all.
Experience: Prior experience in maintenance or related roles, with a practical, solution-focused mindset. - Health & Safety Knowledge: A strong understanding of health and safety regulations, ensuring compliance and safety at all times.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in mechanical and electrical systems, along with general DIY skills.
- Communication: Clear, respectful, and professional communication skills to interact with colleagues, residents, and external contractors.
- IT Proficiency: Comfortable using Microsoft Word, email, and other basic IT tools.
