Maintenance Operative / Handyperson

Within this role, you will be responsible for the upkeep of the site and complete tasks such as basic repairs, groundwork upkeep and cleaning. You will ensure the site offers a clean, safe and maintained environment to staff, contactors and the public. This role will require indoor and outdoor work in all weather. Within this role you will report directly to the Site Support Manager

Your key responsibilities will be:

Ad hoc maintenance jobs - minor repairs, pothole filling etc
Ability to carry of facilities duties - painting etc
Waste management - general waste/recycling etc
Ground maintenance
Site gritting
Manual handling
General site cleaning/clearing
Diving site maintenance vehicles
Emptying of refuse from sale vehicles
Ad hoc duties

Full Driving Licence (essential)
Forklift driver (essential)
Experience/interest in maintenance and facilities
Physically fit and used to working outdoors
Be consistent, dependable and efficient
Capacity to work within guidelines and timetables
Enjoys differing tasks throughout the day/week
Willingness to learn new skills
