We currently have an exciting opportunity for a candidate to join bpha's In House Maintenance Service, who make a difference to our customer's lives everyday by delivering a high-quality repairs service designed around them. We operate across Bedfordshire, Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Cambridgeshire, Northamptonshire and surrounding areas, and we utilise the latest technology to ensure that we not only deliver a great experience for our customers, but for our colleagues as well. We are looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to join our newly formed Small Works Team, and to be responsible for the day-to-day line management of mobile operatives delivering small works, and contractual management of any associated sub- contractors. working in both void properties and our customers' homes; and to be an effective member of the IHMS management team. You will be an effective supervisor, who is able to challenge performance, drive continuous improvement, and support a culture which is health, safety, environmental, quality and customer focused within your team. What you will be doing:

  • Take Responsibility for ensuring that IHMS operatives operate within a strong culture of health, safety, environment, and quality that can be evidenced, stands up to scrutiny and audit
  • Responsible for developing a highly motivated, empowered, and engaged small works team that work together to contribute towards delivering bpha's vision and mission
  • Delivering a small works service using our in-house operatives who have a customer centric, right first-time culture
  • Responsible for the completion of all small works assigned to your operatives
  • You will ensure that van stocks are improved, regularly checked, and audited
  • Working with IHMS management to ensure that your operatives have fleet that allows us to complete works and mitigate impacts of fleet related downtime

    A strong, demonstrable commitment to excellence in customer service and partnership working with colleagues across the organisation
  • Good general all round trade and construction knowledge & experience
  • Good and relevant health and safety knowledge and qualifications
  • NVQ Level 2/3 in a trade as a minimum
  • Minimum 3 years in supervisory position within property maintenance or similar service
  • Full UK Driving Licence
