Management Accountant - 18 month FTC

Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Management Accountant will support tactical and strategic decisions of RPH Pharmaceuticals, a virtual organisation focusing on Intellectual property, with staff across 7 countries with a wholly owned subsidiary RPH Pharma Ltd (RPPL). and other UK entities to ensure full compliance with company and statutory standards and support company objectives. The role will provide effective financial management, planning and reporting for the UK entities, including undertaking all aspects of AP, AR and banking as required. There will also be some duties to support Accounts Payable and Receivable Clerk, as required.,

• Accounting: Using Sage, SAP (M3 transitional period) and Citibank to carry out all aspects of accounts for RPP, RPPL and other UK Recipharm entities. This includes the accruals and prepayments, balance sheet, inventory and intercompany reconciliations.
• Reporting: To provide comprehensive management reporting to internal management and Group Finance. To include weekly and Monthly sales Reporting and Cash Flow Statements for both actuals and forecasting.
• Financial Management: Support and establish realistic revenue and cashflow budgets and forecasts by budget centre working with key internal stakeholders. Monitor opportunities and risks during preparation and review of monthly results. Supporting decision making by using effective presentation of information.
• Business Support: Involved with ad hoc activities within Finance. Working with other business areas to help support, model and analyse information, eg: tender submissions and scrap reporting.
• Continuous Improvement: Seek continuous improvement including robust processes, standard templates and reporting formats to collect, consolidate and present business information. Promote and develop business and financial awareness through presentations, education and training with the support of other finance team members where necessary.
• Internal Controls and Year End Audits: Ensure all Internal controls related to sales, inventory and accounting standards are robust and are regularly tested and consistently adhered to. Key contact for group and external auditors for all matters relating to allocated internal controls and audit.
• Point of contact for Queries from Group Finance and Tax Advisors: Confident dealing with (and where necessary redirecting) queries from group finance on month-end and year-end submissions.
• Adhoc: Attendance may be required for year-end stock takes, handover processes and other Finance and non-Finance related meetings (infrequent international and domestic travel may be required)., Functional stakeholders, particularly Commercial and Supply Chain - Ensure other functions understand the financial implications of decision making and that they have the required management information to influence strong decision making.
• Work with other functions on SAP project and understand how all aspects of the project can impact on the Finance function.
