To meet the exciting growth and expansion of hotels across the EMEA region we are recruiting a Manager, EMEA GM recruitment. General Managers (GM) are responsible for managing the Hotel, the Hotel Management team and deliver an excellent Guest and Team Member experience while managing profitability and meeting our Owners expectations.

This role will drive the attraction and engagement of talent for the general manager position in our organisation. The role will work closely with key stakeholders and leaders across all regions to deliver recruitment initiatives to meet their GM hiring goals. You will be responsible for managing internal and external recruitment. You will serve as an "Account Manager", striving to understand your client's goals, then source and manage campaigns to enhance our employer brand and attract top talent. The ideal candidate will be an experienced, proactive recruiter who thrives on providing a "high touch" experience to candidates and hiring managers. This key role requires a responsive, strategic and client-facing individual.

What will I be doing?

Stakeholder Management:

  • Proactively engage with HR Operations and leaders to gain insight into business needs.

  • Responsiveness and reactiveness with an understanding and sense of urgency and importance for different stakeholders.

  • Provide guidance to ensure a best-practice approach to resourcing is adopted.

  • Advise key stakeholders on selection methodologies and practices.


  • Sourcing and Market Intelligence:
  • Provide actionable intelligence on source markets, campaigns, and innovation to improve sources of candidates for key roles, including scarce skills and diverse groups and produce business-oriented management information to inform decisions.

  • Develop and execute the sourcing strategy for each role recruited and agreeing the strategy (with a heavy emphasis on direct sourcing) with the hiring manager(s).

  • Proactively target, source and manage candidates.

  • Take responsibility for the design of end-to-end resourcing plans which meet requirements for single roles and talent pipelines.

  • Holding an understanding of recruitment best practice tools, methodologies and technologies (e.g. job profiling, sourcing, proactive search, selection and assessment)


  • End-to-end recruitment process management
  • Ensuring all requisitions are fully specified and approved.

  • Consult with the hiring manager to complete a detailed job specification and undertake the vacancy consultation, explaining the role information that needs to be collated. Agree on time scales and obligations for the resourcing process. Ensure the most appropriate selection methods are applied.

  • Facilitating the interview and selection process to measure candidates' skills as required.

  • Negotiating rates/salaries, presenting, and selling candidates within their business areas to hiring managers while ensuring all processes are followed.


  • Customer Focus:
  • Providing a high level of candidate care and ensuring frequent communication is deployed (e.g. debriefing candidates, keeping candidates 'warm'). Ensuring that all process stages demonstrate Hilton Values and an engaging candidate experience.

  • Creating commercial value through responsive recruitment services and the delivery of cost-effective results

  • Building collaborative relationships with senior leaders and hiring managers, identifying, and managing issues appropriately.

  • Maintaining a high standard of service to hiring managers and candidates and ensuring the team is constantly aware of performance against targets.
  • Speculative sourcing, creating opportunities for competitor mapping and management information.

    A passionate people person who is adept in delivering high-quality business outcomes that support Hilton in achieving its people goals and bringing our vision to life. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:

  • A demonstrable track record in Recruitment at an Executive level, either in-house or within an agency environment, ideally across multiple geographies.

  • Experience of delivering confidential searches.

  • A creative self-starter who takes the initiative with minimal direction and understands concepts quickly.

  • Solid knowledge and demonstrable experience in proactive sourcing and Talent Pipelining.

  • The ability to identify and understand the value of an employer brand and effectively communicate the value proposition.

  • Experienced in producing business orientated management information. Able to collate, analyse and translate data to inform decisions, initiate action and demonstrate progress.

  • Experience working with multiple internal stakeholders with varying levels of needs within a complex, matrixed environment.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to articulate complex analytical topics to a wide audience who may or may not be familiar with the subject matter.

  • Demonstrate a track record in influencing key senior stakeholders and hiring managers to achieve excellent results.

  • Able to bring a consultative, creative and process driven approach to the role.

  • Project management skills with an aptitude for staying calm and effective while handling multiple concurrent demands and prioritising responsibilities in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.

  • Strong research and problem-solving skills to find effective and creative solutions for problems while maintaining high professionalism and integrity.
