Full Job Description

We're seeking a talented individual to join our Private Client Tax team in Bristol. This role will provide tax compliance and advisory services for a wide range of private clients - individuals, trusts, private companies, and family offices.
As A Private Client Tax Manager, your responsibilities will include:
+ Responsible for a portfolio of clients which may include sole traders, partners, HNWIs, non-UK domiciliaries, non-UK residents, partnerships, and trusts.
+ Identifying possible advisory opportunities for the clients and managing these projects.
+ Liaising with Partners, demonstrating strong management skills. Duties include appraisals, monitoring staff performance, on-the-job training for junior staff, and addressing staff questions.
+ Managing the administration of the portfolio of clients, ensuring all aspects of compliance, accounts, tax returns, and tax computations are met.
+ Preparing reports for clients, attending client meetings, and responding to ad-hoc questions regarding their personal tax affairs.
+ Providing exceptional client service and maintaining regular contact with the client team.

+ Experience gained within a professional services firm.
+ Good knowledge of personal tax compliance and ideally some exposure to planning/advisory work.
+ Ability to plan workload to prioritize tasks and meet conflicting deadlines.
+ Good written communication skills to draft correspondence with clients and HMRC.
+ Strong inter-personal skills to liaise with clients and other staff members.
+ Customer-focused, meeting deadlines, and responding to client needs.
+ Ability to supervise staff members and support Directors.
Education and Qualifications:
ACA/CTA or equivalent qualification.
