As the Manager of Studio Framework & Governance, you'll focus on the first pillar: Driving consistent adoption of the Studio product development framework and developing better, speedier ways for product leads to experience Studio. Studio guides our 2,500 Global Product Managers and 800 Regional Product Managers, along with cross-functional partners (Finance, Legal, Data, TECH), through the product lifecycle. Your mission? Simplify, digitize, and optimize Studio governance and the Studio experience to empower disciplined management of our products, fueling Mastercard's growth. Responsibilities

  • Support the development, communication, and delivery of a coherent and compelling product strategy for the evolution of the Studio framework, with a consistent focus on delivering incremental value on a quarterly basis
  • Lead or partner with other team members to accelerate the future of Studio, with activities potentially including:
  • Work with cross-functional and regional partners to simplify and enhance the framework and overarching Studio brand
  • Collaborate with global and regional product teams and executives to implement and drive consistent and accountable governance around how products advance through Studio
  • Create modular, optimized paths for how stakeholders engage in the Studio journey for specific product types
  • Digitize Studio artifacts and points-of-interaction so stakeholders can navigate Studio more effectively and efficiently
  • Partner with Learning & Development to develop learning modules that support Studio deliverables
  • Maintain Studio assets and processes to ensure they reflect the latest information and organizational structure
  • Coordinate Studio team's response to internal audits and the actions resulting from them
  • Support the creation and execution of internal events that boost stakeholders' understanding of Studio
  • Adopt an iterative test & learn approach to learn which activities drive impact and which don't, enabling the wider Studio team to quickly pivot and deliver continuous incremental value across all workstreams
  • Develop quantitative success metrics that enable us to quickly determine whether our approach is working and the benefit it is delivering to key stakeholders
  • Help build a customer-centric culture and Studio community that continuously sources and incorporates feedback on the Studio framework, ensuring it remains relevant and impactful to Mastercard
  • Across all projects, create and execute compelling communications strategy that clearly shares key benefits for each relevant stakeholder, All activities involving access to Mastercard assets, information, and networks comes with an inherent risk to the organization and, therefore, it is expected that every person working for, or on behalf of, Mastercard is responsible for information security and must:

    Understanding of product development frameworks.
  • Demonstrated experience of taking a product through product development and collaborating across Global Product, Regional Product and Cross-Functional partner teams
  • Capable of end-to-end strategic thinking and a track record of delivery: Developing a strategic vision, creating an end-to-end roadmap, collaborating effectively across the organization, and executing associated tactical activities
  • Understanding of diverse stakeholder groups (e.g. Global Programs, Regional Product, Cross-Functional partners)
  • Demonstrated ability to operate proactively and with autonomy, and to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated ability to simplify complex tasks and communicate outcomes and impacts succinctly
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate a position and negotiate with leaders in order to deliver clear outcomes
  • Experience driving quantifiable outcomes at Global and/or Regional level
  • Organized and able to deliver outcomes in a dynamic and changing environment
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills across organizational levels and ability to work across multiple business units and geographies.
  • Product management experience and understanding of lean product management principles
  • Proven commitment to self-development and continuous learning
