Job description:
Who we are: Everton Football Club is one of world sport's most respected and revered names - a by-word for innovation, professionalism and community.
During the course of a glittering history spanning three centuries, the Club has been shaped and guided by its aspirational motto Nil Satis Nisi Optimum - nothing but the best is good enough.
One of only three clubs to have been a founder member of both the Football League and Premier League, Everton has played more games in English football's top flight than any other club.
While rightly proud of our rich past, and Goodison Park, our home of more than 130 years, we are now setting our sights on an exciting future at a state-of-the-art new stadium opening in summer 2025.
In doing so, we remain committed to developing and supporting teams across our Men's, Women's and Academy set-ups that inspire and continue to compete at the highest level of the game.
About the opportunity: At Everton Football Club, we are currently embarking on one of the most significant and exciting chapters in our history.
As we prepare for the imminent move from Goodison Park, our home of 133 years, to a world-class new stadium on the banks of the iconic River Mersey, we are searching for a Head of Partnership Servicing to join our commercial team. The successful candidate will help us as we endeavour to capitalise on the new revenue growth opportunities a 53,000-capacity sports and entertainment destination provides.
We have a unique opportunity for the right individual to join our International Team and support the drive for success against objectives linked to the Club's International Strategy. We are on a mission to grow our global footprint and inspire the next generation of footballers. Through our international soccer camp programme and affiliate partner model, we connect young players, coaches and communities worldwide, bringing them closer to our Club's philosophy, coaching methodology and values.
We are looking for a Marketing Lead to drive growth and engagement via our International Academy portfolio of products. This is a dynamic role for a strategic marketer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about expanding football's global reach.
Who we are looking for: Essentially, we are looking for someone who has the ability to think and plan strategically, who can work under pressure and to tight deadlines and has strong commercial judgment.
If you have broad experience of developing and implementing marketing plans (preferably in a sporting environment), have demonstrable experience of building relationships with senior stakeholders and are highly motivated and driven, then we at Everton Football Club would love to hear from you!
This position is a permanent contract, working 35 hours per week with the closing date for this role being Friday 14th March 2025.
The location for this role would be at the Club's iconic headquarters in the Royal Liver Building in Liverpool, with the opportunity to work flexibly with our Hybrid working approach.
Everton Family Safer Recruitment Practices
The Everton Family is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
This role is subject to both evidence and verification of relevant qualifications including proof of eligibility to work in the UK which will be discussed with you if your application is successful.
Equity & Inclusion
Everton is committed to ensuring everyone is respected, celebrated, and empowered for who they are, regardless of their identity. We welcome applications from people with diverse backgrounds and those from racially diverse communities. We are dedicated to supporting the physical and mental/emotional wellbeing of all our people. Should you have a disability or long-term health condition and require reasonable adjustments to be made to the application/interview/onboarding process, please let us know by contacting the Talent Acquisition Team via email.
To support our pledge to diversify our organisation and through our commitment to the FA's Football Leadership Diversity Code, Everton welcomes applications from people of all walks of life. As part of our commitment to Disability, Inclusion and Accessibility we are more than happy to make reasonable adjustments to the recruitment process should you require.
