We are lookingfor an experienced Administrator (30 hours per week) to support the SussexMulti-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH).

There are four MASHs across Sussex(Horsham, Brighton, Eastbourne and Hastings), with this post beingbasedat our Eastbourne site;

agile home working and flexible hours will also beconsidered. Each site has at least one administrator, working directly with theSpecialist Nurse / Health Practitioners and wider MASH teams.

Main duties of the job

The MASH brings together a team of multidisciplinary professionals from partner agencies to handle all safeguarding concerns relating to the safety or wellbeing of a child (up to their 18th birthday).

The MASH health team also link with the ICB Safeguarding Team and are supported in the wider development of the Safeguarding and Health Agenda by these relationships.

Occasionally, the wider team will require support from an administration perspective, and this will be organised in conjunction with the line manager.

The successfulcandidate will be a vital component of the MASH team, with excellentorganisational and communication skills, and high levels of resilience to copein a demanding, high risk, and sometimes upsetting area of NHS business.

Youwill routinely be dealing with sensitive and confidential matters. You will berequired to work flexibly, using your initiative, and be able to prioritiseyour work effectively, responding to need and risk.
