We are recruiting for a Matron for Gynaecology Services who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients. With transformational leadership skills and extensive Nursing experience, you will be accountable for the provision of high-quality care within the Maternity Service, providing visible professional leadership, advice, support and clinical expertise at all times. . The Gynaecology Matron is an integral member of the Women's Senior leadership team who is responsible for the day to day operational and professional management of the Gynaecology service, always demonstrating the Trusts values whilst implementing the Trusts Nursing and Midwifery Strategy alongside Local, Regional and National drivers for improvement. The Matron's role is fundamental to supporting the Women's senior leadership team in transforming the maternity services and leading quality improvement and assurance processes which underpin the provision of safe, effective, maternity care.
