Ensuring all essential services are maintained to support clinical departments in their prime task of treating patients whilst ensuring all statutory legislation is complied with.Ensure maintenance tasks are fulfilled to appropriate levels of quality in a compliant manner.Perform engineering maintenance work including activities which are complex and/or non-routine.Responsible for fault diagnosis, repair and calibration on a wide range of complex engineering plant and equipment.Installation of new equipment and also new electrical/mechanical services.

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic self motivated Electrical/Mechanical Engineering Maintenance Craftsperson to work within a large organisation. Although this role is multi-faceted, in this instance we are looking for experienced individuals that have gained their career experience within an Mechanical Plumbing Bias engineering maintenance background.

You should have experience of fault finding on complex building services, plant and equipment to a high level of competence and be able to work on own initiative.

Knowledge of systems such as Building Management Systems, fire alarms, power systems and infrastructure, emergency stand by generators, ventilation, lifts etc would be desirable.

You will participate in an out of hrs on Call rota.

You should have completed a formal craft apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering and preferably have attained an academic qualification to Higher National Certificate of Engineering standards.
