· Responsible for identifying all defects or damages

· Conducting mechanical and electrical fault finding down to component level

· Using diagnostic tools to identify and rectify any problems effectively

· Working in accordance to the statement of working requirements

· Working and following the design electrical drawings/schematics

· Conducting reworking, testing and repairing tasks on the vehicle

· Responsible for reporting all defects and repairs or rework conducted

· Qualified Mechanical and or Electrical Engineering in Level 3

· PHEV qualified (IMI level 1or 2 minimum)

· Experience within the Automotive Vehicle Manufacturing Industry

· Proven previous experience as mechanical/electrical technician

· Working in a busy fast paced environment

· Excellent attention to detail

· Experienced in using reporting

· Good communication skills, teamworking abilities and initiative

· Adhering to all Company standard operating procedures

· Adhering to all health and safety procedures

· Working according to the company quality and housekeeping standards

· Must have a mechanical/coach toolkit

· Must have Hi-Vis and safety footwear

· Clean UK/ or equivalent Driving Licence
