As Global Medical Affairs Director, you will be at the forefront of developing and implementing comprehensive medical strategies that align with our business goals inside our H&M portfolio (Wound Care, Orthopedics and Compression). About the Role: Your role is crucial by enabling and supporting therapy orientation, providing expert medical advice and insights throughout the product life cycle, from product development to their commercialization efforts. This role is pivotal in ensuring that we deliver evidence-based solutions that improve patient outcomes. Also, you will be responsible on maintaining up-to-date insights from the healthcare environment, optimizing product concepts, and ensuring successful market adoption. We're looking for people who embody our values, aren't afraid to challenge, innovate, experiment, and move at a fast pace. What You Will Do:
- Lead the development and implementation of medical strategies for product development, regulatory approval, and market adoption.
- Maintain and interpret medical insights to drive strategic actions and optimize product lifecycle management.
- Define and execute evidence generation plans to support value propositions and maximize reimbursement and pricing.
- Collaborate with R&D, Regulatory & Clinical Affairs, Market Access, Marketing, and Sales teams.
- Engage with key opinion leaders, healthcare professionals, and patient advocacy groups to gather insights .
- Develop and deliver medical education programs for internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide medical expertise during regulatory submissions and ensure compliance with global standards.
- Ensure all activities adhere to ethical standards and regulations.
- Manage the Medical Affairs budget efficiently. Who You Are
- Degree in relevant field (MD, PharmD, or PhD highly preferred).
- Experience in healthcare industry, preferably in Medical.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in the medical devices industry, with at least 5 years in a medical affairs leadership role.
- Proven track record in developing and executing medical strategies that align with business objectives.
- Strong leadership and influencing skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, engaging effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work across functions, managing by influence in a cross-cultural, multi-site environment.
- Strong analytical skills, focusing on data-driven decision-making.
- In-depth knowledge of clinical trial design, regulatory processes, and post-market surveillance requirements specific to medical devices.
