Job Advertisement: Medical Needs and Administration Officer Contract type: Permanent- 37 hours per week, term time only plus 2 weeks (including 5 inset days) Location: The Kingsway School, Gatley Salary: Scale 5 Point 12-17 £27,711- £30,060(Pro Rata £24,765- £26,864) Closing date: Thursday 12th December 2024 at Midday Interview date: TBC Details of the Role The Kingsway School, part of the Education Learning Trust, are seeking to employ a Medical Needs and Administration Officer to work 37 hours per week within our busy Administration department. This role is term time plus 2 weeks (including 5 inset days). We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated Medical Needs and Administration Officer to join our friendly, supportive, and outward looking team of teachers and support staff. The role of the Medical Needs and Administration Officer will provide an efficient and effective administration support service to the school and be the lead practitioner for the school's medical needs and first aid requirements, ensuring that all policies are maintained, and government guidelines are followed. This will include information gathering, collating medical information, producing student reports for trips, along with managing the medical room. We are looking for a candidate who has excellent administrative experience, along with exceptional problem solving and analytical skills. The Medical Needs and Administration Officer will possess a demonstrable ability to deal appropriately and sensitively with confidential information and will be a self-starter who is proactive in improving the performance of their area and responsibility The successful candidate will be first aid trained, ideally with a medical background. Experience with Parentpay and free school meals would be advantageous. They will have a high level of accuracy and proficient IT skills. They will enjoy working in a team and be able to form strong relationships with team members and students.
