Summary


An opportunity has arisen for an experienced and proactive Medical PA to join our busy and dynamic team in Clinical Administration.


The post is a secondment/fixed term contract to cover maternity leave for 12 months.


You must be highly motivated and committed to provide, high-quality administrative and PA support to multiple consultants and their clinical teams in the Orthopaedic Department.


Please ask your current manager for approval for the secondment.


A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, RSA III or equivalent typing and knowledge of medical terminology are essential for this post. Knowledge of the 18-week patient pathway would be desirable but not essential, as training will be given.


As the role involves dealing with the public and professionals you must be able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills. You will have a flexible and professional approach.


You will have proven organisational skills and be able to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team.
