Full Job Description

To provide an effective and efficient comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to the Consultant Forensic Psychiatrist and the associated medical staff within the Community/Low Secure Forensic Service based at Llandough Hospital.

We are seeking to employ a full time (37.5hours) experienced Medical Secretary to work for the Community Forensic Team, Llanfair Unit, University Hospital of Llandough, Cardiff.
We are looking to recruit a keen and enthusiastic individual who is experienced and able to undertake the role of a Medical Secretary.
The successful applicant will need to possess excellent administrative, secretarial and communication skills, with the ability to prioritise workloads and work under their own initiative. The ability to work cohesively with other members of the team is essential.
You will have a sound educational background with knowledge of computerised systems and good keyboard skills.
Experience in working in a similar environment would be advantageous but is not essential.

Please be advised that there is a temporary top up for Bands 1,2 and 3 to reflect the incorporation of the top up to the living wage of £12 per hour - £23,465 per annum.
