There is one position available for 22.5 hours, the post is to support Consultant surgeons., The post holder will support named clinicians and support their colleagues to provide an efficient support to all members of the clinical teams., If you choose to use AI or other tools to assist in writing your application, it's essential to personalise this information, particularly your supporting statement. They will need experience in managing the robust systems in place for the administrative engagement of patient pathways. They will need to be able to work flexibly as part of the team - sometimes across sites - to produce clinical correspondence using Medisec digital transcription software from outpatient and inpatient attendances. Experience in using the PTL (Patient Tracker List) to manage patient's pathway is paramount. A knowledge of medical terminology alongside previous experience of working in a clerical / secretarial role is desirable. You will be required to display tact and diplomacy, and have developed communication skills when dealing with senior staff, patients, colleagues and the general public., They will need experience in managing the robust systems in place for the administrative engagement of patient pathways. We are a very busy and friendly team and are now looking to engage an experienced Medical Secretary with excellent typing and interpersonal skills to take on this very busy and varied post. The successful applicant will become an integral part of an efficient team providing an excellent secretarial and support service. The post will be based at Doncaster Royal Infirmary, but may be required to work at Bassetlaw Hospital if service needs arise.
